Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in California seeks a Senior Construction Engineer to provide technical leadership and end-to-end engineering oversight for transportation projects. The role reports as Resident Engineer or Structures Representative, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include directing field activities, coordinating with Caltrans and contractors, reviewing submittals, managing change orders, and maintaining project documentation.

Competenze

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and valid Class C driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years of construction engineering experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards, California test methods, SWPPP, environmental permitting, and construction claims process preferred.

• Direct daily field activities with engineering reviews, inspections, and approvals.
• Serve as Structures Representative and technical authority for contracts.
• Lead field engineers, inspectors, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Caltrans, contractors, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders and manage contract administration.
• Maintain project records, progress reports, and cost/schedule data.
