You will focus on roadway design for local and state-funded projects, preparing plans, profiles, grading, and cross-sections to Caltrans standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams through final design

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
7+ years of civil engineering experience is preferred.
Proficiency with Civil 3D CAD software is essential.
Experience preparing roadway plans, profiles, grading plans and cross-sections.

Responsibilities

Lead roadway and transportation design for municipal and state-funded infrastructure projects.
Prepare roadway design plans, profiles, grading plans and cross-sections per municipal standards and Caltrans criteria.
Support project delivery from preliminary engineering through final design and construction.
Coordinate directly with public agencies and multidisciplinary project teams.
Contribute to complete streets and corridor improvement initiatives.
