Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona is seeking a Chief Construction Officer to lead the organization’s residential development and construction efforts. You will drive strategy, oversee diverse projects, and partner with municipalities, contractors, and community allies to expand affordable housing.

Strong leadership, safety oversight, and budgeting skills are essential. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10–15 years of progressive construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in construction or real estate development.
• Experience leading large-scale residential programs and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year construction and real estate development strategy.
• Build strong relationships with municipal and governmental partners.
• Oversee land entitlement and development approval strategy.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure staff competency.
• Provide executive oversight of all residential construction, both horizontal and vertical.
• Oversee selection and management of architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for executive leadership and the Board.
