Job summary

Habitat For Humanity Central Arizona is seeking a Chief Development Officer to set the strategic direction for all fundraising activities and lead the Development team. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and execution across individual, major, corporate, faith, foundation, and planned giving initiatives.

The CDO will manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors, collaborate with the CEO and board, and ensure alignment with Habitat’s mission while driving long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in senior development leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted donor relationships and lead a team.
• Experience with major gifts, foundation fundraising, and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet revenue goals.
• Lead a twelve-person development team and oversee donor pipelines.
• Plan long-term revenue strategy and manage development budget.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with programs, marketing, and volunteers.
• Engage board and key committees to advance fundraising initiatives.
