Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona is seeking a Chief Construction Officer to lead its residential development and construction portfolio in Phoenix, AZ. The role directs efforts from land opportunity through occupancy, building a high‑performing team and scalable processes.

The CCO will partner with senior leaders, municipalities, and contractors, establishing standards, dashboards, and safety programs while integrating volunteers without compromising productivity or quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive construction/real estate development experience.
• Experience leading large-scale residential development programs.
• Experience with land acquisition, entitlements, permitting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year construction and real estate development strategy.
• Oversee land entitlement and development approval strategy.
• Provide executive oversight of all horizontal and vertical residential construction.
• Oversee selection and management of architects, engineers, and other professionals.
