• 5+ years of commercial general liability claims experience.
• Experience with construction defect, including litigated and multi-party matters.
• California construction defect claims experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of complex construction defect claims from inception through resolution.
• Analyzing CGL coverage, endorsements, exclusions, and contractual risk transfer.
• Handling multi-party and litigated matters with a strategic, resolution-focused mindset.
• Setting and adjusting reserves based on exposure analysis and litigation posture.
• Selecting and managing defense counsel and expert vendors.
• Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations within authority.
• Preparing thorough coverage analyses and recommendations when higher authority is required.
• Identifying and pursuing subrogation or contribution opportunities.
• Collaborating with underwriting, legal, and management on emerging exposure trends.
