Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate complex construction defect claims from multiple designated office locations or fully remote where allowed. Qualifications

• Minimum seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain additional licenses within 120 days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with complex technical implications.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report to senior management and underwriters on claims trends and developments.
• Analyze forms, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.
• Investigate claims, interview involved parties, and manage litigation where needed.
• Manage claim reserves and ensure timely progress toward resolution.
• Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce frequency and severity.
