Argo Group seeks a Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate our most complex construction defect claims from designated offices or fully remote with limited geographic restrictions. This 100% in-office role requires on-site work at a company office during standard business hours, with collaboration across multiple offices.

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of construction defect claims and strong customer service focus.
Minimum 7 years adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000+.
Bachelor's degree required; designations may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate construction defect claims with high complexity and significant impact.
Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation.
Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
Assess policy coverage for losses and endorsements.
Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing involved parties.
Manage claims in litigation and ensure timely resolutions.
Set reserves considering policy wordings and reserving implications.
Identify loss drivers and trends through data analysis.
Coordinate resources for case resolution.
Prepare comprehensive file documentation and reports.
Negotiate complex settlements within authority.
