Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Construction Defect Claims Specialist to manage a growing book of property and construction defect claims, with opportunities to touch other lines such as Ocean Marine and Aviation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of property and casualty claims experience, including construction defect, and strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. On-site in Cincinnati four days a week with one remote day; travel to Cincinnati as needed.

Formación

• 10+ years in property and casualty claims including general liability or property claims litigation.
• Prior construction defect claims experience is required.
• Professional designation (AIC or CPCU) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a book of claims including construction defect and property claims of significant size or complexity.
• Conduct thorough investigations, assess coverage and liability, and develop resolution strategies.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, settlements or trials as needed.
• Negotiate settlements within prescribed authority and escalate cases beyond authority.
• Communicate complex information to all parties professionally.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations and company procedures.
