Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced attorney to provide day-to-day counsel on contracts and construction law for assigned business units and regions. You will advise on risk, review owner contracts, support bidding and negotiations, conduct due diligence, manage disclosures, and deliver training on contract terms and ethics.

The role requires a law degree, at least five years in construction law, and the ability to interpret complex agreements and insurance documents.

Qualifications

• JD degree with a valid law license.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with construction law.
• Ability to interpret contracts and insurance documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and risk assessments across contracts/construction law.
• Advise business partners on legal, contractual and risk matters.
• Review owner contracts and support bidding/negotiation processes.
• Conduct and compile due diligence documents and research.
• Manage litigation disclosures and corporate disclosures for RFQ/RFP responses.
