Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced counsel to provide day-to-day guidance on contracts and construction law for the Headquarters division and assigned business units. The role requires a JD and a valid law license with at least five years of construction-focused experience.

You will analyze and summarize complex contracts, advise on risk, contribute to bid strategies, and support litigation and disclosures as needed. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• JD degree or equivalent with valid law license.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience focusing on construction law.
• Proven ability to read, interpret and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day counsel on contracts and construction law for assigned units/regions.
• Advise partners on legal, contractual and risk matters affecting their areas.
• Review owner contracts and support bidding/negotiation processes.
