QTS Data Centers in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to oversee construction budgets from inception to completion, validate change orders, and collaborate with project teams, vendors, and finance. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with financial software.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting, 5+ years in construction or PM, and experience with Workday, e-Builder,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting or relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of construction contract documents and change management.
• Experience with financial and PM software (Workday, e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Ability to collaborate within a dynamic and diverse team.

Aufgaben

• Understand contract documents and coordinate with cost and project teams.
• Review contractor requests for award to subcontractors and monitor savings.
• Verify monthly pay applications and budget reconciliation with the cost/PM teams.
• Process vendor purchase orders and review invoices for terms compliance.
• Obtain detailed monthly cash flow projections and report to stakeholders.
• Evaluate change order events and research cost information for recommendations.
• Maintain a log of potential and approved change orders; support legal review.
• Assist with monthly loan draw process and required documentation.
• Document action items from meetings and ensure follow-up with teams.
