Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster to independently analyze complex construction claims, evaluate exposure, and recommend settlements. This role offers fully remote eligibility and the chance to work with a national client base.

You will interact with clients, insurers, and outside experts, document activity timely, and mentor junior adjusters while upholding industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 7+ years related claims experience.
• Licensed in all states where claims are handled.
• Experience with construction claims.
• Proficient in claims software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyzes claims exposure and recommends settlement strategies.
• Create reservation of rights, coverage denial letters, negotiate settlements.
• Interact with various parties in the claims process and may involve outside specialists.
• Document claim activity timely to support outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and may supervise lower level adjusters.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex construction claims.
