BFL Construction is seeking a seasoned Business Development leader to drive growth across Tucson and Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to the President, you will leverage market opportunities and strategic contacts to maximize growth potential and align BD strategies with corporate goals.

You will develop tailored business development strategies, collaborate with operations and estimating, and build a strong network to strengthen our competitive advantage in the regional market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 8+ years in business development within construction/GC/engineering.
• Strong technical and business writing skills.
• Excellent organization and communication with detail focus.
• Understanding of strategic proposal development processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development to expand and grow the project portfolio in assigned markets.
• Participate on the strategic team and assist in creating the company strategic plan.
• Develop department strategies aligned to company goals and empower teams.
• Maintain awareness of market trends to inform bid strategies.
• Lead proposal initiatives, manage kickoff meetings, and tailor content.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
