Job summary

BFL Construction Co in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will direct teams, drive profitability, manage client relationships, and oversee schedule, cost, and risk to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of GC experience, a related degree, and strong proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, and MS Project. This is a full-time on-site leadership position within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or Equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with individual project values up to $50 million.
• Demonstrated full financial ownership of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in owner contracts, subcontract agreements, change order management, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction through final close‑out.
• Establish project strategy, execution plans, and performance expectations.
• Direct and align Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and support staff.
• Resolve complex project issues involving scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies when schedule or budget performance is at risk.
• Oversee pay applications, subcontractor payments, and owner billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and close‑out documentation.
