Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Construction Lead to provide field oversight and leadership for transmission, distribution and related fiber projects in the Findlay, Ohio area. You will guide constructability planning, sequencing, and execution while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and experience mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Must have experience overseeing transmission and distribution station or line construction.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and transmission line switching diagrams.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with ability to convey complex scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability efforts and coordinate early-stage scoping with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee scheduling, access planning, and outage coordination for projects.
• Mentor junior personnel and foster teamwork across diverse groups.
• Maintain safety and compliance throughout construction execution.
