Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6+ years in transmission/ distribution construction.
• ABET-accredited associate degree with 8+ years of field leadership in transmission works.
• High school diploma with 10+ years direct AEP/contractor line or station experience.
• Experience reading transmission schematics and coordinating safety risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability planning and early project scoping to optimize sequencing and access.
• Oversee fiber optic network construction including installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Interpret splice diagrams and network schematics for proper deployment.
• Mentor and train junior personnel; collaborate with diverse teams across functions.
• Conduct site visits to substations and transmission-line sites; travel as required.
• Develop and present simplified scope of work for project teams and stakeholders.
