The role emphasizes hardware-in-the-loop testing, documentation, and field support, with travel around 10% and onsite work five days a week. A Bachelor's in engineering or CS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial protocols and networking technologies.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop testing using dSPACE and FAST.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar product development, diagnostics, and service tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate end-to-end telematics systems and software features.
• Develop solutions connecting assets to enterprise and cloud applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software and system requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans and validation activities for telematics systems and connected products.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hardware, software, and communication interfaces.
• Create user guides and technical documentation for customers and field staff.
• Develop automated test solutions using Python and other scripting tools.
• Travel ~10% for field installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
