Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks an experienced Sr Configuration Analyst/Manager to own configuration management across the satellite program, ensuring changes align with design, interfaces, and program constraints. You will drive cross-functional impact analyses and lead data-driven packaging for leadership decisions.

The role requires deep aerospace knowledge, GD&T expertise, and data-driven reporting across multiple engineering disciplines to protect configuration integrity across the lifecycle from design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field).
• 5+ years of Configuration Management experience in aerospace, satellite, or defense programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering of spacecraft systems.
• Experience performing Impact Analysis across satellite or aerospace systems at the system and subsystem level.
• Experience establishing data hierarchies and structures for aerospace systems with multiple evolving product lines.
• Familiarity with Physical, Informational, and Operational Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Background in design of satellite systems, launch vehicles, or aerospace systems.
• Expertise in GD&T and drawing technical data packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain configuration baselines for the satellite across multiple vehicle configurations and evolving product lines.
• Perform comprehensive impact analysis across satellite and aerospace systems for all engineering change proposals.
• Own the definition and maintenance of business requirements and process documentation for Engineering Change Control, ensuring workflows and approvals are codified.
• Establish and maintain data hierarchies for aerospace systems across product lines.
• Lead the Change Control Board (CCB) and LeoSpace Platform impact assessment mechanisms.
• Develop and present data-driven technical packages and GD&T-compliant drawings for leadership.
• Coordinate change analysis across satellite bus, payload, EE, RF, and structures fields.
• Maintain change notification logs and deliver executive-level reporting on change health.
• Apply systems engineering to evaluate change impacts across subsystems and ensure ICD/compliance.
