Job summary

Uline, a North American leader in shipping and packaging, is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to own the CMDB and ensure data accuracy across our technology landscape. You will translate complex data into trusted resources supporting IT operations and executive decision-making.

You will develop reports and dashboards for audits, lifecycle management, and configuration status, and drive automation through workflows and system integrations, collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years IT experience with CMDB/ITSM tools.
• Coding and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, SQL, or APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.

Position Responsibilities

• Own and manage the CMDB, ensuring data is accurate, current and properly documented.
• Develop reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to support audits, configuration status, lifecycle and executive decision making.
• Improve data accuracy by implementing automated workflows, discovery tools and system integrations.
• Establish and implement Configuration and Asset Management systems, standards and policies to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to gather and analyze data, translating findings into scalable CMBD capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong understanding of ITSM products such as ServiceNow, Flexera One, HP Service Manager or BMC Atrium.
• Practical coding and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, SQL, APIs or similar technologies.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
