Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort and Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort are seeking an organized, energetic Conference Services & Events Manager to join our Marathon team. You will manage weddings, meetings, and group programs from contract turnover to execution.

Collaborate with clients and resort teams to coordinate event details, develop BEOs, manage timelines, and identify revenue opportunities across two waterfront properties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning, conference services, catering, weddings, banquets, hotel sales, or hospitality operations.
• Hotel or resort event experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience coordinating weddings, meetings, conferences, or group events is a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sales-minded approach with the ability to identify upselling opportunities.
• Experience with BEOs or event management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact from contract turnover through event execution.
• Coordinate event details with resort teams to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee catering, room setups, AV needs, guest accommodations, and special requests.
• Lead BEO and pre-convention meetings.
• Maintain timely communication before, during, and after events.
• Coordinate events across Isla Bella Beach Resort and Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort.
