Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking a Senior Concrete Project Manager in Milwaukee to lead a $50M+ concrete division within a heavy civil contracting firm. You will estimate, bid, and manage public and private DOT/infrastructure projects and drive profitability.

You will oversee project portfolios, supervise field teams, coordinate with divisions, and advance toward division leadership while mentoring others and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience in concrete/heavy civil construction.
• Ability to independently estimate, bid, plan, and manage concrete projects.
• Experience with major DOT/municipal/public infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and competitively bid concrete/heavy civil projects.
• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Lead project teams and coordinate field crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain schedule, quality and profitability across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with other divisions on multidisciplinary estimates and projects.
• Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure alignment.
• Build strong client relationships with owners, engineers and agencies.
• Identify risks and drive resolutions to keep progress on track.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
