Job summary

Orion is seeking an experienced concrete construction foreman to direct crews in building forms and foundations per project plans. You will lead large or multiple crews, coordinate forms, reinforcing steel, and pour sequences on major sites, ensuring safety and quality.

Fluency in English, ability to read blueprints, and strong leadership are essential; you will mentor foremen and coordinate with superintendents, engineers, and suppliers to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years finishing concrete structures and piers, and pouring concrete.
• Understanding of forming systems, sequencing, and structural requirements.
• Experience directing others within a small work unit.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work phases.
• Plan reading and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads large crews or multiple crews on major project areas.
• Plans and coordinates complex construction phases and schedules.
• Manages manpower, equipment, and material planning for large scopes.
• Coordinates with superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Anticipates conflicts and implements solutions; leads constructability discussions.
• Monitors productivity, costs, and schedule performance.
• Mentors foremen and crew leads; participates in safety and planning meetings.
• Maintains confidentiality of company information.
