Job summary

Orion is seeking a Form Setter to build and assemble forms for concrete structures per customer plans. You will use wooden, metal, vinyl, and other forms, drive stakes, and secure systems through nails, screws, or fasteners.

The role requires long shifts and potential overtime based on production needs, with safety and teamwork emphasized. The position involves reading blueprints, estimating quantities, operating cement mixers, power trowels, and related equipment, and mentoring junior employees

Qualifications

• Experience finishing concrete structures and pier foundations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and survey stakes.
• Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks in varying conditions.
• Must follow safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Form Setters with erecting, aligning forms for concrete structures.
• Set anchor bolts for drilled pier foundations.
• Estimate concrete quantities and mixes.
• Read blueprints and calculate areas and volumes.
• Operate cement mixing equipment and power tools.
• Maintain equipment and assist foreman as needed.
• Mentor foundation employees and generate reports.
