Job summary

Lithko Contracting, LLC in Austin, TX, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead estimating, planning, and administration for large-scale concrete projects.

You will prepare detailed estimates, create schedules, manage cost codes, and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. A Bachelor's in CM or Engineering and 5+ years of concrete construction leadership are required. Experience with self-perform concrete, bids, and proposals is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years in project management and estimating for large-scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform concrete experience required.
• Experience with commercial/industrial concrete projects.
• Understanding of construction principles and projects over $1 million.
• Experience with estimates, bids, and proposals.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform a detailed and accurate estimate for a potential project.
• Identify and quantify concrete scope items and contribute to project strategy.
• Generate a customer proposal and preliminary schedule.
• Set up the project including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
• Generate and communicate accurate, timely project information.
• Create the preliminary schedule for the project.
• Organize log setup for MPOs and POs to track items and submittals.
• Responsible for an organized and accurate takeoff for the project.
• Collaborate with Project Lead and operations to develop an accurate project plan.
• Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team.
• Compile daily job cost reports to ensure alignment with the budget.
• Create change orders after understanding customer expectations.
• Execute a detailed closeout for the project.
