Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory is seeking an experienced Senior COMSEC Supervisor to manage the COMSEC account and lead a team of Custodians. You will ensure secure voice and network communications, maintain DIAS/KMI systems, and enforce NSA policies across government sponsors.

You will oversee training, compliance, and incident reporting while coordinating with staff and vendors to maintain supply chain security and program integrity. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT level 1 certification is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance or higher is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the COMSEC team in accordance with NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and sponsor regulations.
• Oversee procurement, tracking, accounting, safeguarding, and destruction of all COMSEC materials.
• Conduct periodic inspections, inventories, and audits of COMSEC materials.
• Coordinate with program staff and sponsors to ensure NSA procedures and supply chain security are followed.
• Develop and deliver initial and annual COMSEC training for staff.
