Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer/COMSEC Manager to support a high-impact multi-agency SATCOM program for USSF/SSC and USAF. The role combines systems engineering with COMSEC management, including PKI, inventory control, and lifecycle accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Engineering Management, Program Management, or a related field with at least 8 years of related experience.
• Must be familiar with CNSSI 4005, CNSSI 4001, CNSSI 4003 and NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16.
• At least 5 years of COMSEC experience, including 3+ years handling End Cryptographic Units and fill devices, and 3+ years handling electronic keying materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform Systems Engineering and COMSEC Manager duties for the program.
• Manage network encryptors and related systems with system administrators.
• Maintain inventory, accountability, and lifecycle management of COMSEC material.
• Support periodic rekey efforts, SOP updates, and onboarding of new devices.
• Brief and debrief users entering and exiting the COMSEC program and provide timely program updates.
