The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an experienced Senior COMSEC Supervisor to manage the APL COMSEC account and lead a team of Custodians, ensuring secure voice and network communications for mission programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and at least ten years of relevant experience.
• Five+ years as a primary or alternate senior COMSEC custodian or EKMS account manager in a similar role.
• Experience with NSA COMSEC policies and CNSSI.
• Experience with COMSEC account software such as DIAS or KMI.
• Experience processing classified cryptographic materials and devices (Vipers, STE, SWT, TACLANEs).
• DoD 8570 IAT level 1 certification required.
• Active DoD security clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI+poly.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the APL COMSEC account per NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and sponsor regulations.
• Lead the COMSEC team in ordering, tracking, receiving, issuing, and safeguarding COMSEC materials.
• Conduct periodic inspections, inventories, and audits of all COMSEC materials.
• Collaborate with program staff, vendors, and sponsors to procure CCI material per standards.
• Maintain DIAS and KMI systems; provide training to staff.
• Ensure compliance training for all COMSEC staff and oversee incident reporting.
