Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated COMSEC lead for a DoD program environment in the Tucson area. The role provides business-level oversight and strategic planning for COMSEC support, including policy establishment and cross-functional collaboration with government personnel and engineers.

The candidate will ensure COMSEC compliance with NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, and ICD 705, manage accounts, and train staff while coordinating with program managers to support multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience working in a special program environment.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, ICD 705, and COMSEC in business contexts.
• Knowledge of COMSEC compliance doctrine and references.

Responsibilities

• Oversee COMSEC accounts across a large geographical area.
• Lead a small team of COMSEC professionals.
• Provide on-the-job training on COMSEC accountability and security.
• Coordinate with government reps, program engineers and customers on cryptographic key usage.
• Develop IPAP, KMP, and BOE documents.
• Oversee facility security and resolve complex challenges across multiple units.
