Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned COMSEC professional to provide on-site management for a high-visibility COMSEC team at El Segundo. The role ensures continuity, oversight, and compliance across collateral, SCI, and SAP COMSEC environments, collaborating with government customers and RTX teams.

The candidate will learn advanced INE management, secure voice product workflows, and enterprise-level COMSEC processes, while supporting secure communications operations at scale and maintaining strict

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience managing COMSEC material including receipt, custody, safeguarding, and destruction.
• Experience training COMSEC users and accountants.
• Experience with End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) management and load/fill procedures.
• Experience working with NSA CSSM 3-16 or related COMSEC doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily COMSEC account management and operational oversight for Collateral, SCI, and SAP mission areas.
• Prepare, load, and maintain INEs and secure voice products.
• Order, receive, safeguard, and maintain COMSEC equipment, keys, and material.
• Track supersession dates, manage fill devices, and conduct software upgrades.
• Submit accurate and timely accounting reports to NSA COR.
• Conduct regular inventories, compliance validations, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Raytheon/RTX teams and support local travel requirements.
• Train COMSEC users, accountants, and program personnel on COMSEC procedures and best practices.
