Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced COMSEC Lead to manage a high-visibility team at El Segundo, ensuring strict compliance with SAP/SCI and collateral accounts. You will coordinate secure communications deployment and govern key material handling in close partnership with government customers and program offices.

The role requires an active DoD clearance, leadership experience in COMSEC, and a strong background in NSA/DCSA policy adherence. Onsite work with top-secret environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Prior experience leading or supervising COMSEC operations or security teams.
• Experience with DoD, NSA, and classified program compliance requirements including NISPOM and NSA CSSM Policy 3-16.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership for a seven-person COMSEC team.
• Oversee day-to-day COMSEC operations including key management, incident response, DIAS reporting, inventory accuracy, and compliance activities across SAP, SCI, and collateral environments.
• Serve as the primary COMSEC Lead for El Segundo programs and government customers, ensuring alignment with mission requirements, compliance doctrine and customer expectations.
• Coordinate deployment, programming, and sustainment of secure communications technology such as HAIPE devices, vIPer phones, keying material, software upgrades, and secure manufacturing.
• Partner cross-functionally with program managers, engineers, facility leadership, and government representatives to resolve challenges and improve throughput.
• Lead team development, performance management, coaching, work prioritization, and resource planning.
