Job summary

Motorola Solutions is looking for a Senior Manager of Computer Vision Inference to lead 2-3 ML teams focused on real-time video analytics across cameras and edge devices. The role requires deep CV, DL, and high-performance inference expertise to deliver reliable pipelines in production.

You will partner with hardware, firmware, silicon, research, and product teams to translate model outputs into scalable, commercial video intelligence solutions and mentor engineers toward technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering leadership delivering CV/DL teams for edge/embedded solutions.
• 5+ years hands-on building/optimizing CV models or algorithms.
• Experience solving customer problems with DL/CV for high-performance inference.
• Directly managed organizations of 20-30 engineers with clear goals and roadmaps.
• Cross-functional leadership across firmware, silicon, research, and product teams.
• Startup mentality with ownership and bias for action in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience building multi-camera video analytics or real-time streaming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 ML engineering teams to develop, optimize, and deploy CV/DL solutions across cameras and edge devices.
• Architect and deliver end-to-end video analytics pipelines that run in real-time on edge hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, embedded firmware, and AI research teams to translate model outputs into commercial video intelligence solutions.
• Drive optimization to maximize throughput and minimize latency across platforms.
• Define and track core performance benchmarks to ensure mission-critical reliability.
• Foster engineering excellence, mentoring, and retention of ML and CV engineers.
