Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager, Computer Vision Inference to lead 2–3 ML engineering teams focused on building and deploying video analytics pipelines across edge devices. You will optimize real-time inference, collaborate across firmware, silicon, and product teams, and guide a high-performing CV/ML organization.

The role requires deep CV/ML expertise, senior leadership experience, and a startup mindset to deliver 0-to-1 innovations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, AI, CS or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering leadership in CV/DL teams delivering edge or embedded software.
• 5+ years hands-on experience building/optimizing CV models or implementing CV algorithms.
• Proven track record managing 20-30 engineers and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience translating customer needs into executable technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 ML engineering teams to develop and deploy CV/DL solutions across edge devices.
• Architect end-to-end video analytics pipelines for real-time operation under constrained resources.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, embedded, and AI research teams to integrate models into products.
• Drive high-performance ML inference to maximize throughput and minimize latency across platforms.
• Define and track core performance metrics to ensure mission-critical reliability.
• Mentor and develop engineers, shaping a high-performing CV/ML organization.
