Job summary

Mujin is advancing industrial robotics with a focus on perception and autonomous operation. We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our R&D team and push the boundaries of real-time vision for high-speed recognition and 3D object understanding.

You will design, implement, and evaluate scalable C++ and Python systems, drive 3D pose estimation, camera calibration, and 3D reconstruction, and deploy solutions at customer sites while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in computer science, robotics, or related field with 4+ years of CV-focused experience.
• Experience developing tools in C++ and Python.
• Experience with 3D object detection and pose estimation, camera calibration and 3D reconstruction, and processing point clouds.

Responsibilities

• Solve cutting-edge scientific and technical challenges related to recognition and pose estimation of a very wide variety of objects in challenging scenarios.
• Analyze and evaluate state-of-the-art algorithms related to object detection and pose estimation, and implement and enhance them in a production environment.
• Design, develop and evaluate the performance of highly scalable and accurate real-time computer vision applications in C++ and Python.
• Perform detailed tests and CI-driven enhancements to rapidly deployed algorithms.
• Manage the integration and deployment of Mujin’s vision systems at customer sites, involving direct client interactions.
