Job summary

Mujin is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join the R&D team. You will design, develop, and deploy real-time computer vision applications for high-speed recognition in production and logistics settings.

You will work on 3D object detection, 3D/6D pose estimation, and 3D reconstruction, leveraging C++ and Python, with CI processes and field deployment at customer sites. Travel within North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Developing applications and tools in C++ and Python.
• 3D object detection and recognition algorithms in varied environments.
• 3D/6D pose estimation to determine object orientation and position.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenges related to recognition and pose estimation for a wide variety of objects.
• Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art CV algorithms in production environments.
• Design, develop and evaluate scalable real-time CV apps in C++ and Python.
• Perform tests and performance analyses; use CI to enhance algorithms.
• Manage deployment of Mujin’s vision systems at customer sites with direct client interaction.
