Job summary

Owl Autonomous Imaging is seeking a Machine Learning Perception Engineer to develop production-grade computer vision and perception systems for autonomous robotics. You will work in Python and C++ to turn multi-sensor data into real-time intelligence using modern ML and imaging pipelines.

You will contribute to detection, 3D tracking, RGB–thermal fusion, and GPU-accelerated processing within an Agile team, delivering scalable solutions for real-world applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development in Python and C++
• Hands-on computer vision experience (detection, classification, 3D vision)
• Experience with multi-object tracking (Kalman/EKF)
• Familiarity with perception evaluation metrics and imaging fundamentals
• Experience with multi-modal data (RGB, thermal, LiDAR, radar, IMU)
• Agile development experience

Responsibilities

• Build and improve detection, segmentation, and monocular depth models
• Develop 3D multi-object tracking and data association
• Design RGB–thermal fusion architectures for multi-modal perception
• Develop production software in Python/C++ using PyTorch and OpenCV
• Turn product requirements into scalable real-time solutions
• Build and optimize imaging and GPU-accelerated processing pipelines
• Curate training datasets from multi-sensor streams
• Develop autonomous perception software components
• Design real-time perception and decision-making algorithms
• Develop ADAS features for vehicle safety and driver assistance
• Build and evaluate failure-case mining pipelines
• Generate derived data products like depth maps and BEV tensors
• Work in an Agile team shipping production improvements
