Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking an Engineer III focused on Computational Analysis to perform advanced structural design for steel and concrete structures. You will apply finite element analysis tools to projects, working as part of a collaborative team on large, complex assignments.

The role may lead disciplines on projects and supervise internal and external resources, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; MS degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops computer models from design drawings.
• Applies statics, mechanics of materials, and dynamics to solve structural problems.
• Performs design calculations and analysis using appropriate tools.
• Reviews work for safety, constructability, and QA.
