Capital One in Plano, TX is seeking a Compliance Tester II to join our second-line defense team, executing risk-based reviews and validating adherence to laws and internal controls. You will test data and automate processes, maintain testing documentation, and collaborate with Compliance Advisors across business lines.

The role requires a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, 2+ years in audit/compliance, and strong communication skills to relay findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, control or transaction reviews.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience analyzing data and testing technologies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Understand business processes and related regulatory and compliance standards.
• Obtain and analyze data to support testing improvements with partners.
• Manage schedules to ensure results are completed within established timeframes.
• Assist with assessment plans and identify opportunities to test in high-risk areas.
• Establish relationships with Compliance Advisors and Business Areas.
• Support compliance audits and exams as needed.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Explain technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exercise professional skepticism and judgement.
