Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking a Compliance Specialist III in New York to prepare complex compliance tests and year-end packages while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will review filings and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.

QKA designation required.

Responsibilities

Prepare complex compliance tests and year-end packages; perform related tests.
Prepare and publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and other regulatory forms; support auditors.
Maintain knowledge of moderate to complex retirement plans and assist with complex issues.
Resolve testing and 5500 issues; mentor teammates and help implement best practices.
Prepare asset reconciliation and balance forward earnings allocations.
Prepare Plan Documents (Restatements, Amendments, SPDs, notices).
Assist with QDRO allocations and corrective earnings calculations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
