Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior Associate in Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) to strengthen the second line of defense for CIB Payments.

You will identify emerging risks, apply judgment, and deliver risk-based solutions supporting the firm, clients, and communities. In this role you will oversee Global Liquidity, Account Solutions & Escrow, and Embedded Finance & Solutions, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Audit and Product teams while guiding regulatory exams and control

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, or related risk management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or risk related subject.
• Excellent research, analytical, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance and operational risk management activities across CIB Payments, aligning with firmwide objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders in the review and implementation of new products, services, vendor relationships, and client onboarding.
• Represent Payments CCOR in control forums, business meetings, and industry events, communicating clear and compelling risk and compliance messages.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes, providing oversight and guidance for business implementation of new rules and regulatory requirements.
• Support second line controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.
• Review and assess new business initiatives for regulatory and operational risk implications, supporting innovative and compliant business outcomes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal, Product, Payments, Audit, Finance, and Control Management teams.
• Support regulatory exams, audits, and testing activities related to Payments, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Demonstrated capability and curiosity in using Copilot, AI, data analytics, and workflow automation tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
