Job summary

Velocity Credit Union seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to shape a culture of integrity and sound risk management across the organization. The role involves interpreting complex regulations, partnering with business leaders, and developing practical compliance solutions to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of compliance or risk management experience within a financial institution or credit union.
• CUCO, CRCM, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the compliance management program across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and guide units through new requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitoring activities, and investigations with practical mitigations.
• Review marketing materials and disclosures for consumer protection compliance.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to build a strong compliance culture.
• Ensure third-party risk oversight and compliance; partner with leadership and internal audit.
