Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharma leader, seeks a senior compliance expert to advise on strategic initiatives while mitigating legal and compliance risks. You will guide leadership and cross-functional teams, develop compliance tools, and work with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and other functions across the US and globally.

You will maintain current knowledge of laws and industry guidelines, lead training efforts, and help mature the Global Compliance Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of healthcare compliance experience in pharma/biotech or life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, FDA promotion rules, HIPAA, Open Payments, PhRMA Code.
• Ability to influence across functions and lead without authority.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Experience identifying control improvements and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advise Global and US business colleagues on initiatives balancing strategy with compliance risk.
• Provide day-to-day strategic and tactical compliance guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Develop compliance tools and resources to help business functions apply compliance principles.
• Maintain relationships with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and other functions in and outside the US.
• Collaborate with Compliance to monitor observations, update policies/SOPs, and deliver trainings.
• Support continuous improvement of the Global Compliance Program including risk assessments.
