Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in the United States seeks a Compliance Engineer to provide technical, field, and analytical assurance for a major semiconductor facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Compliance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, compliance, quality, project controls, or related field.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to interpret construction contracts, specifications, drawings, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to conduct field assessments and document findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, construction managers, and project leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/document management systems.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing construction (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance assurance for federal, contractual, workforce, and project requirements.
• Translate requirements into practical verification criteria and perform assessments of contractors.
• Identify deficiencies and non-compliance; evaluate risk and impact.
• Recommend corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Conduct field-based assessments of project requirements and documentation.
• Assess contractor and workforce compliance programs and maintain audit trails.
• Maintain compliance risk registers and oversee audits and targeted reviews.
• Collaborate with Construction, Contracts, Procurement, Engineering, and project leadership.
