Job summary

Eventide Senior Concierge, LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Director of Compliance to own our program, ensure licensure and HIPAA protection, and guide policy in a part-time role. Youll build practical systems for field and office teams, oversee audits, training, and incident response, and keep leadership informed on risk and regulatory changes while maintaining accurate records in Axiscare.

This role partners with executive leadership to safeguard clients and caregivers, ensure NCQA

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in compliance or quality assurance in home care or healthcare.
• Knowledge of state licensure, Medicaid/Medicare, HIPAA and OSHA.
• Experience with audits, surveys, and corrective action plans.
• Strong writing, training, and investigation skills.
• Ability to implement policies and train staff.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; CHC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with state licensure rules, Medicaid/Medicare programs, and payer and contract requirements
• Oversee HIPAA privacy and security practices, including training, incident response, and breach reporting
• Manage caregiver credentialing
• Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour, overtime, and worker classification laws
• Oversee electronic visit verification (EVV), documentation standards
• Investigate incidents, complaints, and mandatory abuse/neglect reports, and lead corrective action plans
• Prepare the agency for state surveys, audits, and payer reviews
• Write and update policies, and train staff on them
• Track regulatory changes and advise leadership on risk
• Conduct regular assessments of patient care standards and staff performance
• Ensure compliance with NCQA standards, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of clients and staff in Axiscare.
