Job summary

Foundation Communities seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst to support affordable housing compliance across its portfolio. You will review tenant files, monitor regulatory requirements, and ensure accurate reporting.

The role collaborates with Property Management and Compliance staff to maintain LIHTC, HOME, HUD, and other program compliance. The position emphasizes timely filings, data accuracy, and ongoing regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in affordable housing compliance.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local affordable housing programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and reporting systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve move-in and annual recertification files for accuracy and program compliance.
• Monitor deadlines and processing of tenant files and required documentation.
• Prepare and validate monthly/quarterly compliance reports.
• Maintain reporting through TDHCA/CMTS, MDSI and other systems.
• Conduct quarterly property compliance audits and track corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Property Management to resolve file discrepancies and address concerns.
• Support Section 811 compliance activities and utility allowance data collection.
• Stay updated on affordable housing regulations and compliance updates.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and regulatory reviews with Compliance leadership.
