Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking a Sr Consultant, Compliance to join the Compliance Advisory team. The role provides regulatory guidance across Credit Risk Solutions and alternative data, partnering with product teams to embed compliance by design.

The position is hybrid, with in-person work at a TransUnion office for part of the week, and reports to the Senior Director of Compliance Advisory. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in compliance/risk, strong knowledge of FCRA, GLBA, UDAAP, and DPPA, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management within financial services.
• Knowledge of U.S. state laws and consumer protection regulations including FCRA, GLBA, UDAAP, and DPPA.
• Experience providing compliance advice during product development, including risk identification and mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice to Credit Risk Solutions and the Alternative Data business on U.S. regulatory obligations including FCRA and GLBA.
• Partner with internal business clients during product development to identify regulatory requirements and carry out controls.
• Support Regulatory Change Management by assessing impact of new/changed laws and helping develop action plans.
• Assist with Issue Management by identifying control breaks and determining corrective actions.
• Investigate root causes of compliance issues and track remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, guidance, and training materials.
• Communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly to multiple stakeholders across the organization.
