Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience; public accounting or professional services preferred.
• Experience with grant management, compliance activities, internal control reviews or assessments, and/or internal audit.
• Familiarity with GAGAS/Yellow Book, Uniform Guidance, and IIA standards preferred.
• CPA, CIA, CGMA, CFE, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and monitor grant compliance activities, including monitoring programs and subrecipient performance.
• Lead grant compliance reviews, evaluate documentation, and develop actionable findings and recommendations.
• Lead internal control reviews, internal audits, and operational assessments.
• Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls based on needs and leading practices.
• Prepare client deliverables including findings, recommendations, and final reports.
• Collaborate with clients to improve accounting and business practices, strengthening compliance and operations.
• Communicate project status and results to team members and client stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to junior team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
