Job summary

Koch Foods is seeking a Complex Engineer to oversee engineering activities across six locations (two Hatcheries, a Feed Mill, a Processing Plant, a Debone Plant and a Prepared Foods/DC Plant) and drive continuous improvements with management teams. Travel, weekend and overnight work may be required.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 10+ years in industry, and 5+ years in poultry-related projects, plus strong CAD and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in industry related roles.
• 5+ years of work experience (poultry emphasis preferred).
• Experience managing projects with multiple internal and external teams.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Comfortable speaking to large groups and leading project teams.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access.
• Excellent CAD skills: AutoCAD, Revit and 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop improvement opportunities with management and external resources to drive process improvements.
• Act as project manager for assigned projects, managing scope, schedule and budget.
• Communicate effectively to all levels of management across the complex.
• Perform other duties relevant to the job as needed.
