Job summary

Argo Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior General Liability Property Damage Technical Claims Specialist to adjudicate complex claims and support clients from our Omaha office. The role offers on-site work five days a week and reports to a NYC-based manager, with alternative offices in NYC and Richmond.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general liability property damage claims, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with Guidewire and ImageRight, plus active licenses

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years adjudicating general liability property damage claims.
• Bachelor's degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.
• Must be licensed or able to obtain licenses across jurisdictions within 120 days.
• Guidewire ClaimsCenter and ImageRight experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate general liability property damage claims with high complexity and significant financial impact.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigations to resolve issues.
• Report to senior management and underwriters; manage claims in litigation and set reserves.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insureds, claimants, and other parties while ensuring timely resolutions.
