Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Complex Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance for multiple properties. You will direct engineering staff and ensure hotel structures meet HHM standards, guest service expectations, and sustainability guidelines.

The role emphasizes vendor management, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and coordination of in-house projects, with a focus on guest satisfaction and curb appeal across properties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience in a hotel setting strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, and coach associates to meet brand standards.
• Manage bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Perform and supervise preventative maintenance on hotel rooms and equipment.
• Inspect rooms and identify repair needs; maintain life safety systems.
• Maintain exterior grounds and refurbish furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and Federal codes and sustainability guidelines.
